The Sheriff’s Department of Reentry and Diversion’s mission is to provide services to detainees in the custody of the Sheriff and assist in aftercare of this population once they are released. The department also assists at risk communities by providing preventive education programs.
Working to establish this goal, The Department of Reentry and Diversion consists of the following units: Boot Camp, Community Outreach Religious Volunteers, Sheriff’s Garden Program, Day Reporting, Virtual High School, Jail Diversion & Crime Prevention Programs, The Pre-Release Center, Program Services, Senior Services, and Youth Services.
