COOK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS VISITORS
In the near future, a new Cook County Department of Corrections visitation procedure will go into effect. All Visitors must be placed on an approved visitor list prior to being allowed a visit with any inmate. Potential visitors may obtain a visitor request form from the divisional lobby where the inmate is being housed, at the entrance of any Cook County Courthouse, or on the link below. This form must be filled out completely and returned to the divisional lobby officer, the deputy at the entrance of any Cook County Courthouse or scanned and emailed to the following email address: doc.visitation@cookcountyil.gov. The inmate will inform the potential visitor if they received approval to visit. Inmates are allowed seven (7) approved visitors (Not including clergy and attorney visits). Inmates will be allowed to change their approved visitors list once a month. Additional people may be authorized to visit on a case to case basis with the approval of the Superintendent or Designee. Visitors are required to follow Cook County Department of Corrections visitor rules and regulations at ALL times while on facility grounds.
