SHERIFF'S POLICE ASK PUBLIC TO HELP IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN FATAL HIT-AND-RUN

—Cook County Sheriff's Police are requesting the assistance of the public in helping identify a car which was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in unincorporated Maine Township.
At some point between late evening November 4 into the afternoon of November 5, it is believed that a black Dodge Challenger fatally struck a pedestrian on eastbound Touhy Avenue between Interstate 294 and Talcott Avenue. It is suspected that the passenger side of the vehicle sustained body damage.
