HOFFMAN ESTATES BROTHERS ARRESTED FOR NARCOTICS
Thursday, May 21, 2009 —Bond was set at $300,000 for two Hoffman Estates brothers charged with narcotics possession after selling cocaine to undercover officers, according to the Office of Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart.
Miguel Alvarado, 32, and Alejandro Alvarado, 26, both of the 600 block of Salem in Hoffman Estates, were arrested following an investigation by officers from the Sheriff’s Police Narcotics Unit and the Hoffman Estates Police Department.
Undercover officers purchased three bags containing a total of 254 grams of cocaine from the Alvarados. During a subsequent search of their residence, another 65 grams of cocaine was recovered.
Miguel Alvarado and Alejandro Alvarado were each charged with three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Their next court date is June 17 at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.
