SHERIFF SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING LEMONT TOWNSHIP BURGLARY SUSPECT

—Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart is seeking the public's assistance in locating a burglary suspect from Lemont Township.
On October 3rd, at 9:30am, victims from the 13100 block of Derby Road in Lemont
Township returned to their residence to find a blue SUV parked in their driveway. The make and model are unknown but the two-door SUV had temporary license plates.
As they approached the residence, the offender was able to flee the scene with some
of their belongings. There appeared to be evidence of forced entry into the back entrance of the home.
A description of the offender is as follows: white male, 6'02, 220 pounds with brown
hair. A sketch is below. The Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating the offender. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Cook County Sheriff's nonemergency number at 847-635-1188.
