Friday, March 14, 2014 Two people have been charged with possessing items that had been taken during a burglary of a Robbins home where three people previously had been shot and killed, Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart said.

Larry GlennLarry Glenn, 19, has been charged two counts of possession of stolen property. A Sheriff’s Police investigation found that he had pawned two televisions taken during a burglary of an unoccupied house in the 13600 block of Pulaski in Robbins.

On Feb. 18, Sheriff’s Police received information from Robbins Police about the burglary of the house were Michael Worsham, 43, shot and killed his wife and two children on the night of Feb. 2. Police also found Worsham dead inside the house on Feb. 2. He died of natural causes.

Glenn, of Robbins, was taken into custody on March 8. He received an I-bond (own recognizance) during a court appearance on Monday. His next court date is scheduled for May 5 at the Markham Courthouse

A 16-year-old from Robbins was also arrested and charged as a juvenile.

Sheriff’s Police detectives are looking for additional offenders in the connection with this incident. Sheriff Dart asks anyone with information about the burglary to call Sheriff’s Police at 708-865-4896.

Sheriff Dart also reminds the public that the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty by the government in a court of law. -
