COOK COUNTY SHERIFF THOMAS J. DART TO HOST TOWN HALL MEETING
IN MAINE TOWNSHIP
Thursday, January 15, 2009 — Gang activity and drug awareness will be among the topics of discussion during a Town Hall meeting for Maine Township residents to be held Wednesday, Jan. 28 and hosted by Sheriff Thomas J. Dart and the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.
The meeting will be held at the Maine East High School Auditorium, 2601 Dempster Street, Park Ridge. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with representatives from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Township available for questions and to pass out safety literature and other information.
The meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Sheriff Dart will address the group and representatives of the Sheriff’s Office will discuss gang activity in Maine Township, drug awareness as well as business and residential security.
