The Sheriff’s Police Narcotics Unit is divided into two teams, North and South, covering those respective areas of the County. In addition to Sheriff’s Police Investigators, several other agencies provide officers, including local police departments and numerous Federal and State agencies.
Narcotics officers conduct hundreds of undercover investigations each year, averaging 300 arrests and seizing more than 1,100 kilos of various illegal narcotics on an annual basis.
